During the Fall and Winter of 2021 and 2022 it is quite certain that influenza virus will begin to circulate. Last season there were few cases of flu reported. Most people stayed within their “bubbles” to avoid infection by SARS-Cov-2 and the development of COVID-19. That said, with the opening up of society, despite the spread of the delta variant, and perhaps other variants of SARS-Cov-2, this upcoming flu season might be a more active. The CDC encourages everyone who is eligible to get a yearly influenza vaccine. (see CDC link below)
With both SARS-Cov-2 and influenza co-circulating, it will be important to have protection (immunization) against both viruses. If one has symptoms of upper or lower respiratory infection, see your physician for diagnosis and treatment,
I always look forward to your updates. Thanks for keeping us informed.
